*Fundo Nacional da Aviação Civil tem verbas específicas para apoiar empreendimentos aeroportuários*
O prefeito de Guarujá, Válter Suman, assinou, na última quinta-feira (30), o repasse de mais de R$ 5 milhões do Fundo Nacional de Aviação Civil (FNAC) para a realização de obras de infraestrutura no espaço onde será instalado o terminal de passageiros do aeroporto da Cidade, na Base Aérea, em Vicente de Carvalho. A Secretaria Nacional de Aviação Civil do Ministério da Infraestrutura garantiu o valor para as adequações
A conquista é fruto de estudos, articulações e investimentos feitos pela Prefeitura de Guarujá, que vinha tentando, ao longo de 2021, acesso ao FNAC, específico para o financiamento de empreendimentos aeroportuários, com o apoio técnico da Infraero. Com quase 50 anos de mercado, a Infraero foi contratada pela Prefeitura para assumir a gestão e operação do Aeroporto Civil Metropolitano de Guarujá em 2020.
O valor será destinado também para o cercamento de toda a pista, que tem 1.390 metros de extensão por 150 metros de largura, mais a área de segurança em torno dela, chegando a 1.500 metros de extensão. Além disso, ainda será instalado um terminal provisório de passageiros com mais de 300 m², utilizando 11 módulos que já estão no local.
O Termo de Compromisso que trata dos R$ 5.158.131,46 tem validade de 1.096 dias. Para o secretário interino de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Portuário (Sedep) de Guarujá, Paulo Cavini, essa é a realização de um sonho.
“Estamos diante de uma possibilidade de desenvolvimento para toda a região, inclusive turismo de lazer e corporativo. Será mais um modal para interligar nossa mobilidade regional, conectando passageiros e cargas, e trazendo novos negócios para Guarujá e toda a Baixada Santista”, explica o secretário.
Agora, segundo Cavini, o setor de projetos da Secretaria Nacional de Aviação Civil (SAC) dará o aval final ao desenho das intervenções previstas para o cercamento da pista e do novo terminal de passageiros. Desde junho de 2021, por meio da Infraero, a Prefeitura também protocolou o pedido de licença ambiental junto à Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo (Cetesb), que está sob análise.
Paralelamente, o Município aguarda a viabilização de R$ 10 milhões para incrementar os investimentos necessários para colocar o aeroporto em funcionamento, fruto de uma emenda parlamentar apoiada pela bancada paulista da Câmara dos Deputados, uma articulação da deputada federal Rosana Valle.
A área onde será instalado o aeroporto está sob controle do Município – que recebeu da União a outorga de área na Base Aérea em abril de 2019 – e com a gestão e operação aos cuidados da Infraero, que é uma prestadora de serviços.
