O evento “Circuito Quebrada Viva”, que celebra a cultura hip-hop, será realizado a partir das 14h, na Praça Horácio Lafer (Tejereba)c, om entrada gratuita. A iniciativa é do Coletivo Noroest (@coletivonoroest)
Durante o evento, acontecerão as tradicionais batalhas de breaking 2vs2, com a participação de b-boys e b-girls de São Paulo, com premiação de R$700,00 e troféu. A equipe de jurados será formada por B.boy Keb, B.boy Gerson e B.Girl Miwa, a discotecagem será com o DJ Insano, e os MCs Eliot e Igor Souza.
Nesta edição, as batalhas serão realizadas em parceria com a AfroBreak Crew, e farão parte do processo de eliminatórias o evento Rival vs Rival, um dos importantes eventos da cena do breaking de São Paulo. A dupla vencedora garantirá a vaga para participar do campeonato Rival vs Rival oficial, que retorna às atividades neste ano após um período de paralisação.
Durante o evento, haverá um workshop gratuito de Breaking com o B.boy Boca. Uma aula aberta em que serão compartilhados os passos básicos da dança breaking através de uma vivência leve e divertida. Qualquer pessoa interessada pode participar, sem necessidade de experiência anterior ou qualquer tipo de condicionamento físico. As inscrições serão realizadas no próprio local.
A programação conta ainda com apresentação da Banda Black Box, criação de painéis de Graffiti com Xand e uma roda de conversa com o B.boy Keb (Instrusos Crew) sobre a inserção do breaking nas olimpíadas, que em 2024 estreia nos Jogos Olímpicos de Paris como modalidade de competição.
“Desde a criação do breaking como um dos pilares do hip-hop, a modalidade se espalhou e possibilitou que muitos jovens se distanciassem da violência. Uma dança que uniu pessoas e mostrou a potência dessa cultura. A inclusão do breaking nas olimpíadas traz uma nova vertente de atuação, agora como modalidade esportiva, o que poderá trazer visibilidade e inspirar mudanças. Isso certamente impacta no movimento e merece ser discutido, afinal, não podemos nos distanciar de quem vive o breaking há tantos anos, que são os jovens da periferia”, reflete Igor Souza, do Coletivo Noroest.
O “Circuito Quebrada Viva” é uma ação que surgiu a partir de uma perspectiva cultural periférica ligada à cultura Hip-Hop, movimento que vem transformando diversas ‘quebradas’ tanto na cidade de São Paulo, como em outras localidades do país.
Visando incentivar o hábito da leitura, sobretudo ao conteúdo da história do Hip-hop, o evento contará com uma biblioteca temática com oferta de livros e outros materiais didáticos, além de atividades lúdicas com contação de histórias. Um ambiente organizado e confortável que possibilitará a interação de crianças e jovens com os monitores, que vão inspirar a leitura de livros como “O grito do hip-hop”, “A quebrada em quadrinhos”, “Nelson Triunfo, do sertão ao Hip-hop”, “Mulher de Palavra: Um retrato de mulheres no Rap de São Paulo”, “A pedagogia hip-hop: Consciência, resistência e saberes em luta”, “Batidas, rimas e vida escolas” e “Genealogia hip-hop”.
Para desenvolver as ações em 2024, o Coletivo Noroest foi contemplado no edital PROAC Nº 37/2023 – Cidadania Cultural – Produção e Realização Proj. Cultural – Cultura Negra, Urbana e Hip Hop, e visitará as cidades de Franco da Rocha, Pindamonhangaba, Registro, Santo André e São Paulo.
Por meio do projeto, o Coletivo Noroest promove um circuito de formação e difusão cultural que contribui com o desenvolvimento social das comunidades por onde as ações irão passar, instigando as pessoas para uma nova perspectiva de vida tendo a ideologia Hip-Hop como base para a produção de conhecimento e compartilhamentos práticos e teóricos.
Sobre o Coletivo Noroest
O Coletivo Noroest desenvolve ações artísticas através do Hip-Hop desde 2015, quando surgiu como Crew de Breaking Noroest Gang, sendo atualmente composto por integrantes residentes no bairro periférico de Perus, região que concentra um dos piores índices socioeconômicos da capital.
Em 2015, surge a ideia do evento ‘’Quebrada Viva Battle’’ e em 2016 e 2019, o coletivo é contemplado pelo programa VAI modalidade 1, levando ações como eventos em formato de Jams, em praças e pontos de cultura, desenvolvendo workshops, exposição de graffiti, bate-papo e batalhas de breaking. Em 2020, é contemplado no edital PROAC nº 34/2020 – Manutenção de Corpos Artísticos estáveis em favelas e comunidades com o projeto “Coletivo Noroest – Quebrada Viva”. Em 2021, é contemplado com o projeto “Raízes do Hip Hop – Território Noroeste” no edital PROAC º 33/2021 – Ações Locais / Favelas e Periferias / Produção, Difusão, Capacitação e Eventos (presencial e/ ou online). E em 2023, executa o projeto ‘Autonomia Periférica’ contemplado na 19ª edição do Programa VAI – Modalidade 2.
